Object-Matching Games
hhgregg, a large chain department store, wanted a fun game to drive entries into their upcoming sweepstakes. They hired Plow to develop 100 Ways to Organize, an object-matching game. Players could tap groups of food to clear out space in their refrigerator. Larger groups gave larger scores. Entries into the sweepstakes were given upon game over. Players could also compete for the top score in a leaderboard. After the success of 100 Ways to Organize, two years later, hhgregg had Plow update the game with a new name of Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel, a new object theme, power-ups, and a new sweepstakes.
Plow worked with hhgregg to design the games. We developed them with Unity and created all art assets. We also handled the web APIs for leaderboard entries and sweepstakes tie-ins. 100 Ways to Organize and Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel were released for iOS and Android.
